Welcome to our photo series, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's celebrated restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. In continuing our coverage of restaurants hitting important milestones, today we take a look at The Red Cat on its 10th anniversary.
[Krieger, 4/16/09]Chelsea: Opened by Jimmy Bradley back on April 26, 1999 in the once sparse dining territory of Chelsea, The Red Cat has become an iconic neighborhood restaurant. A precursor to Bradley's own Tribeca spot the Harrison, as well as others in the same genre—think the Owl, Perilla—the Red Cat and its cuisine by chef Bill McDaniel, is still attracting the regulars ten years in. Have a look around on a recent Friday night.
