East Village: Whether planned all along or inspired by the runaway and now well known success of LA's Kogi trucks, St. Mark's Place newcomer Seoul Station is now advertising Korean style tacos. Up until now, the restaurant served the usual bimbimbap, kimbap, kimchi stew, vegetable buns, and korean pancakes and sandwiches, but they've decided it's time to branch out and hop on this taco trend. Maybe we won't have to wait for the truck to come east to get our fix after all.
For a visual comparison, check this (Seoul on left, Kogi on right). We encourage any bi-coastal Kogi lovers to let us know how these seem to stack up.
