1) Upper East Side: A tipster reports and a walk-by confirms: Demare restaurant on the Upper East Side on 78th and 3rd is now shuttered. [ShutterWire]
2) Midtown: Midtown Lunch announces the closure of Soul Fixins on 34th Street and 9th. Their location on 28th between 7th and 8th is still open though. [ML]
4) East Village: Caffe Emilia on 1st Ave. and East 7th, closed last month but it was just this week that a local resident sent us pictures of the complete and utter carnage. Sad. [Closed]
4) SoHo: Our sister site, Racked brings word of Le Cafe at l'Occitane closing, along with the store, at Spring and Mercer. The store still has other locations throughout the city but , alas, no other cafes. [Racked]
