UPPER EAST SIDE— An oyster shucker from Prince Edward Island came to NYC to consult on the opening of Flex Mussels. Some of his reactions: "I was surprised by how busy it got quickly...In New York, because of p.r., we were busy from day three...There were bloggers and people taking pictures of the food and, man, I’m not used to that...People were constantly sending things back. The martinis, for example!...I had to pour a five-ounce martini for (one woman who complained). Do people know what they’re drinking? They’re drinking a fifth of a bottle of vodka with each drink.” [NYT]
