Wow. Pretty if CRAZILY overpriced cabaret venue. I want to make clear that i have absolutely no problem paying money for good quality, but this is not it. First of all we paid 88 dollars per person for tickets. This seems to be their standard price regardless of performer. A lot, yes, but I had no problem with this. Then there is a 40 dollar minimum at the tables in addition. This will actually be no problem, because they have limited selection, and the prix fix is 97 dollars per person. Now again, I have no problem spending the money...but.... here's what we got:
A basket of stale, not kind of stale, not somewhat stale, but REALLY stale breadsticks, a soda for 6 dollars, a small mojito for 21 dollars, a cheese plate, served on a small dinner plate, with stale grapes and 8 to 9 pieces of cheese cubes, along with water crackers from a box for 26 dollars, and my favorite a seafood appetizer for 42 dollars PER PERSON! This included, not exaggerating: 4 shrimp, 4, clams, some hummus, some flatbread, and some canned crabmeat. By the time we were done, our three diet cokes, 2 appetizers, and 1 mojito came to 200 dollars. This, in a recession no less, is extreme. The room is beautiful, the performance was amazing. Only go here if you REALLY want to see the performer and they will be nowhere else, the room, while gorgeous, is completely not worth it.
