Reprieves: Good World May Not be Doneski Just Yet

Lower East Side: Last week it was reported that LES favorite Good World would close within the week, with the last big blow out planned for tomorrow night. It was a long anticipated shutter, as Good World's owner Annika Sundvick announced last year that they had to move to make way for condos. However, we hear today that they might be getting a brief reprieve. Per an Eater operative and Good World regular:

"I went on Friday night to say goodbye and the bartender told me that the W Hotel, which bought the building directly north of it and the building that houses Good World, has stopped the project they were working on so they may or they may not have a reprieve. They should know by now, but when I talked to the bartender on Friday they weren't sure."
We haven't been able to reach anyone at the restaurant, but any further intel is welcome.
