UNION SQUARE— According to Fork in the Road the quick hit Num Pang is closed for the day but should reopen tomorrow. [Fork in the Road]

PARK SLOPE— Here is Park Slope reports that beloved beer, cheese, and chocolate store Bierkraft has added some tables to the front of the shop and is applying for a liquor license: "Soon you’ll be able to sample the beer before you invest in a 64 oz. growler, and after purchase you can sit and have a drink. Not sure if they’ll be selling pints as well, but with the recent addition of cask ale taps, I wouldn’t be surprised. They’ve also recently begun making sandwiches to order." [HiPS]

GREENPOINT— Brouwerij Lane held its grand opening party this Saturday, and the people came in droves to fill up growlers with their beer on draught. The scene, above. [EaterWire]
