Disaster Report: A.O.C. Restaurant Shuttered by Fire

New, 4 comments

West Village: Multiple readers have reported, and a walk by yesterday confirms, that A.O.C., the quaint neighborhood restaurant on the corner of Grove and Bleecker, was damaged late Monday night by a fire. Workers on the scene confirmed the fire, but were reticent to share details on the damage, the cause of the incident, or the projected reopening. A tipster tells us it will be closed for at least a week.

It may not elicit the same outpouring of support as the recent Totonno's fire, but it will be missed in the neighborhood during the renos.
