Plywood Special: New P&G Location Shows Signs of Life

New, 2 comments

Upper West Side: 1 1/2 months after the sad shuttering of Upper West Side icon P&G Cafe and the removal of the its neon signage, we see the first signs of life at the new location at 380 Columbus, formerly the home to Evelyn's Lounge. We'll be keeping a close watch on the progress, but regulars should keep in mind, this will not be the same P&G of times past. This "more refined" version will have steak and chops, a teriyaki rubbed burger, a fireplace, and chess boards. They already had their community board hearing, so all they'll need is to complete the revamp and get the goods from the SLA (and possibly the DOB). Stay tuned for more.
