Dealfeed: Lever House's $35 Menu Extended Until Dow Breaks 10,000

Midtown East: Johnny Mac, aka John MacDonald, the owner of Lever House, has decided to extend his Restaurant Week Menu not until Feb. 27, not until the end of '09, but until the Dow breaks 10,000 again. McDonald says, “It is quite clear that the current financial climate is going to dictate that consumers expect greater value with their dining and entertaining outings. Accordingly, Lever House will be maintaining a constant Restaurant Week style $35 three-course dinner until the DOW breaks 10,000.” Chef Bradford Thompson will change the menu with the seasons, but the current offering is below.
