DOH Chronicles: Barbone Taken Down

East Village: A tipster reports Barbone (or bär-bo-né), the two year-old Italian spot opened by a Batali protege, has been felled by the city's Dept. of Health. Upper East Villagers may want to stick to Back Forty or Gnocco tonight. In light of yesterday's announcement of the New Order at the DOH, we wonder what letter grade these guys would be getting if this little shutter-oo happened a year from now.
