Eater Scenes: Fleur De Sel, Final Night, 8 PM

New, 2 comments

Welcome to our photo series, where Eater photographer Daniel Krieger visits some of the city's storied restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. For a very installment, we present Fleur de Sel on its final night of service.

[Krieger, 02/21/09]

Flatiron: At the beginning of the month, Chef Cyril Renaud announced he would be shuttering his Michelin-starred high end French restaurant Fleur de Sel on February 21. Citing the economy, Renaud said he'd rather focus his attention on his new, more affordable and casual Bar Breton. As a tribute to the eight year-old, now shuttered, Fleur De Sel, we present the scene on its final night of service.
