Sietsema gets on the blog to file an early review on Marfa, the new Tex-Mex restaurant in the old Waikiki Wally's space. He loves the chicken fried steak but not much else: "...aside from the mac and cheese and coleslaw (both of which were great), most of the food was memorably awful." However, there is this big plus: "'That reminds me,' my dining companion noted, 'this place is related to Lucky Cheng's, and there's a common party room in the basement.'" [Fork in the Road]
