After the short lived restaurant Afettati closed on East 7th Street, dessert shop East Village Pie Lounge was set to take the space, and even opened for a day or two. Now we realize it's not only shuttered, it's seized. Let's hope all the other newly opened EVill dessert shops enjoy happier fates. [EV Grieve]
