Greenwich Village: Yesterday, Keith McNally's newest project, the rebirth of Minetta Tavern, lost its blue tarps, and we got a peek at the window and the lamps. Today, a tipster ups the ante and walks inside:
"Walked into Minetta today, and the workers there told me it would open the first week of March. The bar was right at the entrance and there were about a dozen small wooden tables along the walls. There were about 6 people in there, two sitting at a table, one doing some work in the back, and some behind the bar. It looked a little dusty and I believe there were some tarps in the back, but the entrance looked ready to go."Just a couple weeks, folks. According to Grubz, McNally is just waiting on the gas.
