Black Saturday Reports: Bait and Switch at Picholine

From the Valentine's Day aftermath tipline:

"I called Picholine Saturday to see if they were going to be offering their bar/economy menu in the bar area. They told me yes, and that I should come in. I arrived with my date, and we had no problem getting a seat at a café table at the bar. However we were presented with menus that only had their $145 per person Valentines day tasting. When I asked about the bar menu, the waiter told me they were not doing that tonight, but that we could order a la carte from the tasting menu. I spoke to the hostess, who appologized and told me that when I called earlier in the day they were under the impression that the bar menu would be available. We weren’t interested in a la carte, so we just had a glass of champagne and I called Shun Lee, which was able to accommodate us, and we walked over there and had a wonderful meal."
