DOH Chronicles: Westville Taken Out for Holiday Weekend

West Village: Some unfortunate DOH inspection news from the tipline: "...health inspector closed Westville during dinner Friday night. Customers were asked to leave during their service. It was apparently closed for allowing customers to use 'employee' bathroom that is in the back of the kitchen, something that is a major violation of the health code." We'll get the official Dept. of Health report when their offices reopen after the holiday, but a walk by this afternoon confirms the place is shuttered and hopes to reopen by Wednesday.
