East Village: A Chowhounder brings the alarming news that one of the East Village's favorite ramen joints (along with Ippudo, the Noodle Bar, and Minca), Ramen Setagaya has been felled by the DOH. A walk by confirms: the 141 First Ave spot is down for the count. Last fall, we wondered why they opened a second branch right around the corner at 34 St. Mark's Place (and why they're opening yet another on University), but now we see how another location just steps away can come in handy.
