Scott Conant Moves Closer to Taking Failed Table 8 Space

The powers that be will not yet give an official confirmation, but multiple sources are reporting that Italian Stallion Scott Conant is indeed taking over the Table 8 space in the Cooper Square Hotel, as rumored last month. That also means that Govind Armstrong is steps closer to making a final exit out of the New York restaurant scene. Word is the final concept of the new restaurant has not been nailed down yet, but it will not be another Scarpetta. Expect more info as it becomes available.
