Win a Copy of Phaidon's Coco, the Culinary Tome of the Year

This time of year, who doesn't like to get stuff for free? Lucky for you, the annual Eater Giveaway Extravaganza is well underway. Until we run out of merch, while supplies last, for a limited time only, by special engagement, etc. etc., check this space regularly for chances to win. 'Tis the season, friends. And publicists, ping us here if you want to offer something up to the hungry crowds.

Today, the giveaway gods present Coco, one of the coolest looking and perhaps most underrated culinary books of Fall 2009. She's a monster for sure—five and a half pounds and 448 pages of design, recipes, exposition, photos, and cute little bookmarking ribbons—but remains a book worth touting on the coffee table. The idea is this: the creators asked ten of the world's best chefs, including Adria, Waters, Batali, and Henderson, to pick their favorite ten chefs, who are then profiled. As Eat Me Daily puts it, "It's a riot of glorious information." To win a copy, email contests@eater.com and tell us who your top ten up and comers would be and why. Deadline is midnight tonight.

If five pound books aren't your thing, check back later this week for more giveaways.
