The Tribeca Citizen reports that Greenwich Grill, the fusion restaurant that shares a space with lauded sushi spot Azabu Sushi, is taking over the recently shuttered Tokyo Bar space on 277 Church. The theme won't be incredibly different. Called (ahem) TribeCafe, it will serve a "eclectic Tokyo-Tapas food and drink menu." Given its focus on late night Japanese bar food, they could be trying to give Moritmoto—with his very similar Tribeca concept—a run for his money. [Tribeca Citizen]
