UPPER EAST SIDE— Grub Street reports that La Goulue, the Upper East Side oldtimer that closed earlier this year after a rent dispute, has found its new home at 20 East 63rd St. The only problem is the space is located across the street from a synagogue, making it much harder for them to get a liquor license.
