Now that Vinny Dotolo, co-owner of the runaway LA hit Animal, has married a gal from NYC, there's speculation a restaurant over here could soon be in the works. Speculation that was heightened by an Animal/Nieporent sighting last week: "Opening a place in NYC has 'crossed their mind' according to an Animal staffer, but nothing is set in stone. If they opened up a place in NY, it would be more of a 'deli, with fresh meats and sandwiches.'" [EaterWire]
