Flo Fab learns a little more about the Harrods-like food hall Todd English mentioned he was working on in NYMag this week. He's actually heading up the planned food court on the lower level of the Plaza Hotel near the hotel's beleaguered Plaza Retail Collection. Given the space has been said to have "all the charm of a suburban outlet mall," English's vision can only be an improvement.

Kind of like Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich's Eataly, no? Or perhaps it will be more like El Chod's 20,000 sq. ft. food parc. Expect Michael Huynh to open a giant food court in 3, 2...
