One Year Later, Lovely Day Rises from the Dead

There's some good news coming across the wire to jump start this fine election day. Grub Street reports that Lovely Day the ever so chic (and cheap) Nolita Thai restaurant has reopened after being shuttered by a catastrophic fire late last October. The fire, which shot flames 20 feet in the air and injured five, was one to behold. Grubz notes that the menu is pretty much the same, though there's a new cocktail list "featuring old-fashioned cocktails with an Asian twist." Delivery is already a go, so folks in the nabe, order at will.
