Finale Confirmed in Napa; Samuelsson Hits Masters

Finally confirming what was already known, Bravo has officially "revealed" that this season's finale of Top Chef will indeed take place in Napa. Also as suspected, four finalists made the trip up to Wine Country. Then, as in years past, the final challenge involved three chefs, who apparently got a "surprise wake-up."

In other superfluous Top Chef news. An Eater National tipster spots the Magical Elves crew filming in LA and is able to ID our very own Marcus Baby Face Samuelsson, Seattle's Thierry Rauturea, Carmen Gonzalez (of Miami but now in NYC), and maybe, possibly the man, the mustache, Charlie Palmer. It's about time Samuelsson, he of the notorious (for opposing reasons) Aquavit and Merkato 55, got to bat those eyelashes for a wider audience.
