When Winter Comes, 230 Fifth Goes Snuggie

New, 6 comments

Rooftop bars run into a bit of trouble as the weather becomes intolerable for guests, forcing them to either shut down for the season or get innovative. 230 Fifth, the Flatiron bar popular during the summer with the afterwork set, firmly falls into the innovative category. To combat the winter chill, the bar has doubled its number of high powered heaters, created a new "Hot Hot Drinks" menu that are served in over-sized hand-warming mugs, and purchased 1,000 of the bar’s cozy signature red hooded fleece robes to help keep its customers warm. If you have ever wanted to experience the sensation of drinking and being in a weird cult, head on down to 230 Fifth before Spring arrives.
