'Secret' Speakeasy Coming Soon to 149 Mulberry

Following up on some curious tipster intel (and the obligatory blurrycam photo), an Eater operative swung by 149 Mulberry to investigate the rumored location of yet another Little Chitaly speakeasy. It turns out that, yes, there will in fact be a "speakeasy type" subterranean lounge going into the space. It will be run by the owner of Cafe Palermo, the mildly well known, yet still dime a dozen looking cannoli joint across the street. The owner reveals that the working name is "My Little Secret" (seriously) and that it has a scheduled opening date that's about two weeks out.

While little else in the way of details is available right now, please note that the entrance is indeed that black basement grate, there is a two way mirror in the hallway "so they'll see you coming", and yes, that's a Godfather poster in the spy shot. It's no Woodson & Ford, but hey, maybe the kids will dig it.
