1) East Village: An Eater operative sends in the above photo at the upcoming third location of Manhattan mini chain Think Coffee on 4th Avenue and 12th St. A barista at Think Bowery reveals that it should be open "within a few weeks" and gives away some bonus intel: they're currently scouting for a fourth location. [PLYWOOD]

2) Downtown Brooklyn: Grub Street brings word that César Ramirez, Bouley alum and former Bar Blanc executive chef, plans to expand his "glorified bodega" Brooklyn Fare into a fifty seat restaurant next year. He'll serve "dishes like croquettes that explode with liquid foie gras, crab roulade over American caviar, and sweetbread-and-scallop surf and turf in vanilla-bean sauce." [PLYWOOD]

3) FiDi EVGrieve reports that the folks down in the Financial District will no longer have to travel uptown to get their fried chicken fix once the newest outpost of Bon Chon Chicken opens. The chain will open up shop in the former Zen Palate space. [PLYWOOD]

4) East Village: Grub Street reports that empire builder Michael "Bao" Huynh and Pichet Ong are teaming up to open a dessert joint called Spot on St. Marks. Few details are available, but they claim it could be open in two months." [PLYWOOD]

5) East Village: A tipster and EVGrieve bring word that Balade is opening in the former Christine's Polish American Restaurant space. The signage claims it will be a "Lebanese pitza and grill." Stay tuned to find out what "pitza" is. [PLYWOOD]

6) Fort Greene: Clinton Hill Blog writes that recent activity in the former Little House on Clinton space suggests there might be a new candy shop coming to town. Or, you know, it could be just about anything: "It could, literally, be a candy shop (which would be so fun!). A reader who emailed me about the space hypothesizes it will be a children’s clothing store." [PLYWOOD]
