The Feedbag is reporting that the owners of Hill Country will be the latest restaurateurs to contribute to the fried chicken trend that is currently sweeping the city—check out this map of what's come in 2009 alone. Next spring, they will be opening a 2,700 square foot fried chicken restaurant, their first expansion in the city. They'll sell two types of birds, one a recipe from the owner, one from the chef, along with pies, biscuits, and ice cream. For those hoping this new fad would be long dead by next spring, think again.
