[Krieger, 10/1/09]Today, the Eater Scenes lens heads up to Central Park South to peek in on Marea, Chris Cannon and Michael White's high end Italian seafood spot in the old San Domenico space. Popular with the food world types, uptowners, and critics alike—though the staff is still waiting on an assessment from the Times' Sam Sifton—the place is, so far, living up to its high expectationa. Their latest offering: a "Collezione" menu at the crudo bar where $125 gets diners six crudi and a five-course pasta progression. The scene on an average weeknight.
