2009_10_larousse.jpgLast week's epic Momofuku Cookbook giveaway was not the finale of the Eater giveaways. Today, we have another monster to unload. Behold Larousse Gastronomic, a culinary bible that first debuted in 1938 and is being brought back because of the release of Julie & Julia (it was Julia Child's main reference book when learning how to cook). This baby is 1,216 pages and weighs just around 500 (roughly) pounds, and can be yours if you're one of the first three readers to send an email titled "Cookbook giveaway" to contests@eater.com. Winners must be able to pick up the book at Eater HQ. And we have a winner! Try again next time. [Contest Dept.]
