Pamplona Shutters, Will Potentially Reopen as Nightclub

New, 5 comments

There's one more item to add to The Shutter today. Flo Fab brings word that chef Alex Ureña's two starred Spanish restaurant Pamplona will close after service this evening. The chef, a disciple of both Ferran Adria and David Bouley, tells the paper he hopes to find another restaurant by early next year in New York or elsewhere. Meanwhile his space on 28th and Park will reopen in a few weeks under the auspices of "a couple of club owners." They're keeping the kitchen staff on, so presumably it will be a restaurant or a resto/club. Which, of course, are always fun. Hopefully Todd English is somehow involved.
