Last night, buzzed about MePa newcomer Abe & Arthur's coyly opened a week ahead of schedule after almost a month of private parties and friends and family dinners. Brought to you from the folks behind Tenjune and chef Franklin Becker, A&A is a two story, two barred, heavily mirrored dining palace. And since there is indeed a giant party space down below, the focus up top is really on food. Whether they succeed in getting the real foodie crowds to come by regularly is, of course, up in the air, but it's fair to say everyone will want to see what Becker is up to at the outset.
