While its website boasts that its founder is a backer of the venerable 1OAK, a representative for the club refutes the claim, saying "the venue and the board members listed on the Parlor Club website have absolutely nothing to do with 1OAK or Butter. The name of our venues and the other clubs listed are clearly being used to validate and provide credibility to this unknown group." Their website site has already gone behind a membership wall, but beware a club that stretches the truth in order to get membership dues out of you.
