Maryann Terillo, exec chef of the recently shuttered 12-year-old neighborhood eatery Jarnac is moving forward with her promised new project. And it's a little piece of nostalgia. Terillo and partner Elisa Sarno are opening Bistro de la Gare on 626 Hudson Street (at Jane), in the old Mi Cocina space. If it sounds familiar to veterans out there, that's because Terillo once ran a sweet little French restaurant on Perry St. called Le Cafe de la Gare, which closed back in 1992. It's unclear at this point how similar the new restaurant will be to its predecessors, but the city will see when it opens in December. Until then, the owners are blogging about the progress. Spoiler: the gas line is coming soon!
