Plywood Special: Work Begins on Boulud on the Bowery

Bowery: Back in November, the black and white paper went up in the windows of Daniel Boulud's upcoming brasserie/diner/"interesting sausage" spot in the Avalon Bowery, but now we hear the first report of actual work going on. From a Noho correspondent: "Loud construction noises from inside. The Boulud crew is fully engaged." It's about time, given the last projection was "sometime this winter."
