2) Prospect Heights: The opening of the new restaurant Cornelius, a project involving the owners of Le Gamin and Franklin Park, has been pushed back to January 16. Some new plywood shots are above. [PLYWOOD]
3) Midtown East: The new Capital Grille, projected to open this spring, has put up its signage on 51st near 5th. Curiously, they're offering "350 Wines—Sparking and Otherwise." [PLYWOOD]
4) Park Slope: Per a press release, Get Fresh, a market and online store in Park Slope is relaunching as Get Fresh Table and Market on January 16: "Chef and co-owner Juventino Avila, formerly Executive Chef of both Bonita's (part of the Marlow & Sons and Diner family) and most recently the sous chef at Double Crown, has brought his passion for sourcing local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients to Get Fresh Table and Market where he will be preparing rustic, simple dishes." 5) Park Slope: Gowanus Lounge checks in on the state of the new ramen shop coming to 4th Avenue (pics above): "(If you want to find us, we’ll be living there once the place opens.) It doesn’t look they’ll be opening in the next few weeks, but we’re getting there." [PLYWOOD]
6) Flushing: Robert Sietsema reports the famed Trinidadian snack joint A&A (which relocated from Crown Heights to Richmond Hill, Queens) will be coming back to Brooklyn: "The owner told me a new branch of A & A Bake and Doubles would soon be opening (a week or two, he said) near the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Church Avenue. 7) Dumbo: We have a twitter report that the paper is down at the Ignazio's under the Brooklyn Bridge, and it is presumably getting closer to opening. [PLYWOOD]
8) Financial District: Grub Street brings word that plywood vet Leo's Bagels will open early next week: "Murray’s devotees can expect pretty much the same menu of smoked fish, coffee, and of course a variety of bagels that are hand-rolled and baked on-site. A couple of novelties: A salad named the Leo (after Pomerantz’s uncle) will combine egg salad, lox, and onions; and a baker’s dozen will be called a 'broker’s dozen.'” [PLYWOOD]
