The Times brings word of Jim Mamary and Alan Harding's second Brooklyn location to close in the last two months. From Harding: "Patois, the pioneer restaurant on Smith Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, that he opened in 1997 will close on Sunday...'We’re probably going to move it,' he said...'The empire has dwindled...we have lost the jewel in the crown for now.” [Diner's Journal]
