WILLIAMSBURG— According to a tipster, DOC Wine Bar in Williamsburg is growing a DOC Lounge. It will be attached to the original bar: "I got a peek inside – the place is beautiful – very Sardinian style with white plaster and rich wood accents. All furniture has been shipped from Italy...It's considerably bigger, it's much more airy and open...They have this cool oven with lit-up Italian wine bottles sculpted into it...It's on the Wythe side of the street down from DOC wine bar at the corner of 7th. They are talking about a Feb. 14th soft open." [EaterWire]
WEST VILLAGE— A quick PSA from DBTH: "The Spotted Pig's annual staff party, always held on Super Bowl Sunday, is the rare day when the restaurant is totally shuttered." [DBTH]
MIDWOOD— According to the latest outgoing message at Di Fara, they are hoping to reopen "the week of February third through the seventh." [GS]
