Chelsea: It's the moment you fancy Chelsea and MePa North residents and workers have been waiting for—Ken Friedman and chef April Bloomfeld's two month-old seafood hotspot The John Dory will open for lunch mañana at high noon. Do. not. miss. it. This place has been a mob scene for dinner since it opened so, as is absolutely the case with its sister restaurant The Pig, the time to go to the Dory will be midday. They'll be serving up fish soup ($13), smoked smelts ($15), squid stuffed with chorizo ($20), a whole grilled sea bream ($27), and more. Suffice it to say the $24.07 Restaurant Week special has no place here. Enjoy yourselves West Siders. To see if you can swing it, download a copy of the menu here.
