EaterWire: Restaurant Truck Kills Children, Around the Clock's New Concept, Another Throwdown

EAST VILLAGE— A minor update on the recently shuttered Around the Clock. When they reopen after renovations in a couple of months, the restaurant will debut with a new concept. Though a new name wasn't mentioned, the the menu is going to have more healthy, organic, and natural items, "a lot like Whole Foods." [EaterWire]

CHINATOWN— Two children were killed today and one critically injured when a delivery van for the restaurant China Chalet at 47 Broadway jumped a curb and pinned the children to a building. In one account the driver told police he left the van running, while another has him backing up when the children were hit. [AP]
