Jerry's Cafe Gets new Chef, Liquor License

New, 9 comments

Jerry Joseph, owner of the once iconic Jerry's in Soho and the ill-advised YourAsian in Tribeca, has finally acquired a new chef and a liquor license for his Jerry's Cafe (opened in the YourAsian space last Sept.). An update/rally cry from Mr. Joseph:

"We've hired Tina Wong the executive Sous Chef from Delicatessen to run our kitchen and she is currently revamping our dinner menu to reflect more of her input.
To introduce our bar to the neighborhood we started ( last week) a special promo that runs Mon-Fri from 5-7pm. Our 8 Oz Jerry's Burger with a glass of House Wine or Beer for $ 7.50

As we're on the cusp of Tribecca, its been slow in developing a following without the Liquor license but we're now turning the corner."
You heard the man: Beer and wine for $7.50. Give him a chance.
