Chef Shuffles: Apiary to Get the Scott Bryan Treatment

New, 6 comments

East Village: Diner's Journal brings the news that Apiary, the small NYU zone new American spot has dropped head chef Neil Mannacle in just five months. Looks like the Bobby Flay alum's sweet and sour lamb and Moroccan chicken just wasn't getting it done, and the powers have decided to give Scott Bryan, a bit of a name in his own right, a try. Known for his work at Veritas and for very briefly considering an open position at Lever House, Bryan will redesign the entire kitchen and launch an entirely new menu in a month. He will also create a chef's tasting prix fixe.
