Subject: Beer Scam at Irving Mill
——
So I am waiting for the rest of my party at Irving Mill and decide to have a beer at the bar. The chalkboard says my beer of choice (a Brooklyn) will be $7. I order said beer, the waitress rings it up and tells me it is $8. I correct her on the mistake, and she explains to me that the beer is actually $7 without tax. With tax it comes to $7.59, and they round up to $8. I ask her if she finds that odd and she replies "I just work here." She did offer to get me 30 cents change, but I told her to keep it. Am I losing my mind or is that crazy? [Eds.: crazy]
