Street Meat

Yet another alarmist "investigation" from the good journalists over at Inside Edition. Last time they uncovered that some professional kitchens have heath violations. Now they learn, wait for it, that street vendors aren't all up to code. They catch the vendors in a number of unsavory acts, but here's our fave: "A vendor outside the Museum of Natural History who licked his gloved hand and counted money. Then he left his cart to use a bathroom in the museum and returned to serve customers without washing his hands." [Gothamist]
