Plywood Pizza Special: Adrienne's Pizzabar Expanding

Battery Park City: Get ready pizza obsessives (and we're especially looking at you Ed Levine). Downtown's favorite spot for Sicilian pie, Adrienne's Pizzabar, is expanding. Their new space will be at 30 West St. right next to the downtown Ritz Carlton and it will open in the second or third week of October, according to the folks at the original Stone Street spot. It might not be the location uptowners, who already have a hard time making it to FiDi, were hoping for, but it's a much needed addition to the somewhat desolate BPC dining scene. They'll serve the same giant square "upscale pizza" and beer selections you find at the original location. [PLYWOOD]
