According to a MIdtown tipster, Skylight Diner on 34th and 9th has been shuttered by the DOH. The restaurant tells us they'll open back up again tomorrow morning once they sort their "gas issues," but you never know with the DOH and their re-inspection sched. If the Skylight sounds familiar, that because the iconic Cheyenne Diner lost its lease to Skylight's owners this spring. They plan to build a nine story building with a restaurant on the property.
