Expansion Report: S'MAC's New Storefront

East Village: A special correspondent stopped into mac 'n' cheese mecca S'MAC on East 12th Street yesterday and has some interesting expansion news to report. Because the line can get so long on some nights—competing with Una Pizza's line down the block—S'MAC will be opening a take-out and delivery only storefront at the former Chinese massage parlor two doors down. Co-owner Caesar Ekya tells us the cops busted the parlor recently and he and Sarita jumped at the chance to expand. Though we now have to wonder if Pata Negra, the poor little wine bar sandwiched between two mac 'n' cheese shops, will feel like it's getting squeezed out by the new set up.
