14th Street's one year-old posh members only club Norwood has jumped on the Top Chef bandwagon and hired Season 2 alum Josie Smith-Malave as its new Exec Chef. Most recently linked to the year-old Brooklyn space Speakeasy, Smith-Malave plans to bring seasonal, Greenmarket sourced (natch) dishes to the dining room and lounge and will add a heretofore missed cheeseburger. The somewhat high profile hiring could signal the club, frequented by well-to-do media and artsy types, is putting a new emphasis on its dining room. [EaterWire]
